Typically, the lowest winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money getting larger for each better hand. A common list of winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the payment schedule can range from machine to machine, so that skillful players are able to pick the most beneficial machine each time.
Once the initial round has played out, the player can either decide to stay on in an attempt to maximize their winnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any credits that they may have won. Further, several styles of the game allow the enthusiast a chance to increase their profits, in which case a further hand is played. There are also differences between individual machines, with some decks of cards having wild cards and other varying elements to increase playability.
