Video Poker
Electronic poker is generally played on a machine, which displays the player’s cards on a video monitor. Connecting pieces of poker and slot machines, this form poker is one of the number of games in the casino where you might actually have a real expectation of winning, as opposed to being at mercy of pure luck of slots or roulette.
The gambler places a bet and the video poker machine deals out five cards from a common 52-card pack. The player then has a single opportunity to keep or throw away any number of unsuitable cards, and is allotted the same number of new cards from the deck.
